Frequently Asked Questions

AHA CARDS

How long is my CPR e-card good for?
Your e-card will expire in 2 years, and always in the same month you completed the class.

How soon will I get my e-card?
You'll get your e-card same day once all is completed depending on supplies or we have 3-10 business days to send.

Is this class approved by the state of California?
Yes it is.  If you are in the medical or dental field, the Board of CA approves American Heart Association (AHA) CPR training for licensure and Continuing Education (CEs) credits for 4 units every 2 years.

I haven't gotten an email or can't find my email with my
e-card, what should I do?
Please check your email, all trash and junk folders just in case.  Try typing e-cards into the e-mail search bar and if it doesn't surface then please contact us at 619-621-8541 for further assistance.

DAYCARE

Am I EMSA approved?
Our First Aid and CPR classes are approved. However, if EMSA stickers are required, you will need to sign up for 2 other courses called "Lead Poisoning" and "Health and Safety" through your local college or facility that offers them.

STUDENTS

What should I wear to my class?
Please wear something comfortable because we will be doing a lot of hands on techniques that require bending, and reaching.  Please wear tennis shoes, a hair tie if you have longer hair, and limited jewelry.

What should I bring to class with me?
Please bring water, your old CPR e-card if applicable, paper and pencil/pen to take notes (if desired) and a SMILE because we are going to have fun.

Are you taking this class for personal knowledge?
If that’s the case, I truly commend you for simply wanting the skills to help save a life and do the right thing. The "Personal Knowledge" course offers the exact same content as our certified courses—comprehensive and complete—but it does not include an American Heart Association (AHA) certification. As a result, it's offered at a lower cost.
